At The Dudes’ Brewing Company, we feel strongly about giving back. That’s why we started our Good Dudes, Good Humans initiative through which we’ll be partnering with various causes and working toward a greater good.
To that end, we’re stoked to announce our flagship partnership with The Surfrider Foundation, one of the largest non-profit grassroots organizations dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches through a powerful activist network. Because The Dudes’ believe in keeping our waterways clean, a partnership with Surfrider made a lot of sense for us. On top of that, beer is 95% water, and clean water is very important to us from an operational and quality standpoint too.
We’ve kicked things off just in time for Labor Day Weekend by launching our Surfrider Pale Ale through which a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Surfrider Foundation. We put a ton of work into making this beer awesome, right down to the can design, which was a collaborative design-team effort that took 16 versions in order to get it right. The taste of the beer will demonstrate our take on SoCal Pale Ale with Australian Summer, New Zealand Motueka, German Hull Melon and American Simcoe Hops. Like all of our beers, the Surfrider Pale Ale will be gluten-free.
As of right now, The Dudes’ Surfrider Pale ale is available at on premise locations like restaurants and bars. Whole Foods will be the exclusive off-premise supplier of the Surfrider Pale Ale cans in SoCal for 60 days so look for displays at your local Whole Foods. In addition you can use the Beer Finder to find out where you can get draft and cans at on-premise locations throughout Northern and Southern California, and which Whole Food locations have cans of Surfrider Pale Ale in stock. Once off-premise exclusivity ends with Whole Foods, you will then be able to use the Beer Finder to find out which other off-premise locations (grocers, liquor stores, convenience stores and superstores) you can purchase cans of The Dudes’ Surfrider Pale Ale.
We hope you’ll join us in supporting this great cause and save our waterways one brew at a time. Look for more announcements in this and other Good Dudes, Good Humans beer series in the near future.
